In the wake of the floods that devastated Central Texas over the weekend, a handful of restaurants in Dallas-Fort Worth are directing their profits to victim relief funds.
Italian restaurant Partenope is donating 100% of its sales on July 10 to the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund, said owner Dino Santonicola. Profits from both the downtown Dallas location and the Richardson location will be donated.
“We are a family with kids the same age of the ones that were at that summer camp and I cannot imagine the pain of the families involved,” said Santonicola. “That’s why we felt like we have to do something to help.”
All food and drinks are included in the fundraising effort, he added.
