Popular sandwich chain plans 4 Dallas area shops, including in Lakewood, University Park

Snarf’s is expanding into Dallas and expects to open its first stores by the end of the year.

Colorado-based sandwich chain Snarf’s is expanding to Dallas, with plans to open four locations by the end of this year.

Those not familiar with the Snarf’s offerings can expect classic sandwiches, such as turkey and swiss cheese, and house specialties, like smoked brisket with barbecue sauce and Swiss cheese.

Its menu also has salads, like the Snarf Salad with leafy greens mixed with turkey, ham, hard-boiled eggs, chopped bacon, in addition to a special menu dubbed “Not-On-The-Menu.” The listing includes offerings created by customers and team members over the years, with bites such as The Mother Clucker, a sandwich filled with rotisserie chicken, honey, bacon and provolone. There are also gluten free options.

The four locations will be located in bustling shopping centers across the Dallas area. Those include shops at Snider Plaza in University Park, Lakewood Shopping Center on Abrams Parkway, the West Love development along West Mockingbird Lane and Pavilion North on Campbell Road.

Founder of the sandwich chain, Jimmy “Snarf” Seidel, said he chose these locations with hopes North Texans become “lifelong Snarfers.”

“I hope that they (customers) love the stores and the experience with my team, and most importantly, that they absolutely love the sandwich I give them,” Seidel said.

With the expansion into Dallas, Seidel said he’s excited for the Snarf’s brand to go into “one of the greatest cities in America.”

“I’ve never been to a city with more excitement, more velocity,” Seidel said.
